The Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative (CMPI)’s annual fundraiser will be a celebration of diversity and excellence in classical music. The evening will feature performances and remarks from CMPI’s talented fellows, as well as inspiring words from special guest, critically-acclaimed flutist Demarre McGill.
The mission of CMPI is to identify and develop gifted and motivated orchestral students from underrepresented backgrounds for acceptance into top-tier conservatory, college or university classical music programs in preparation for careers as professional musicians.
Proceeds from this fundraising event will support life-changing training, mentoring, and financial support for some of the most promising young musicians in the greater Chicago area. CMPI’s work is transformational and generational and your donations will allow us to create a greater impact than ever before.
