We are thrilled to announce that the Hunter Family Foundation has granted CMPI a transformative gift of $100,000 to support our program’s ongoing operations. This fund will help CMPI achieve greater sustainability in a shifting funding landscape.

We are incredibly grateful for this support from the Hunter Family Foundation, which – like CMPI – believes in the critical importance of college access and persistence. This year, we are excited to launch a new partnership with a volunteer music school admissions expert to support our comprehensive college readiness efforts, including individual and cohort-based college application guidance, workshops tailored for parents of music students, and more intensive training for our part-time CMPI family mentors. Through this new collaboration, our seniors will receive even more support to ensure that they are as prepared as possible for the college application and audition process for admittance to top conservatory and university programs.

“We are thrilled to support CMPI with this grant to ensure students are provided with the expert college and career guidance, excellent musical training, and meaningful relationships with caring adults needed to take the next steps on their professional journeys,” says Frank Baiocchi, Executive Director of The Hunter Family Foundation.

CMPI’s 71 alumni to date have achieved 100% college acceptance and received combined financial aid offers in excess of $31 million. This gift from the Hunter Family Foundation
